The new Daalarna RUSH capsule collection was created so that brides who are thinking about a small wedding can find the perfect dress for the occasion. Less is more: minimalist wedding dresses tailored to your needs.
The current situation has radically transformed weddings. Plenty of couples have been forced to completely rethink their big day, and as a result, non-traditional forms of marriage, such as micro weddings, minimonies, sequel weddings, or elopements, have become more fashionable. These new trends will stay with us as the situation improves since more and more couples have started focusing on their own desires and personalities instead of expectations and traditions.

Many feel that a more intimate, minimalist wedding is even more focused on the point: the union of two individuals who have chosen to express their commitment and fidelity to each other.
Anita Benes has therefore designed the new Daalarna RUSH capsule collection for brides who dream about a wedding other than the traditional one, while still sticking to a personalized wedding dress made with quality materials and craftsmanship.

“Everything has been revalued over the past year, and weddings are no exception. Of course, a lot of couples are still waiting to be able to have a classic big wedding, but in general, it can be said that small, personalized weddings are flourishing,” says Anita Benes.
“At Daalarna, for example, we have many brides who have been organizing international weddings with guests from many different countries and, because of the current travel bans, they do not want to take the risk of having the party this year. At the same time, they don’t necessarily want to wait years to get married, so they divide the wedding into two parts by quickly organizing a small, civil ceremony in the presence of the closest family and friends, while the big wedding is postponed or even totally cancelled.”
“Yet, brides don’t want to give up on the experience of saying yes in a personalized, once-in-a-lifetime wedding dress – that’s how the idea of our new Daalarna RUSH mini collection was born.”

The capsule collection of eight outfits was dreamed up by Anita Benes for smaller wedding venues such as a family garden party or a modern civil ceremony in the city.
By leaving the princess attributes but keeping the haute couture criteria, a modern and minimalist wedding collection was born, in which everyone can find their favourite styles, be it a perfectly tailored jumpsuit, a chic mini dress or a unisex white suit.

“I was inspired by 60s and 70s bridal fashion when women did not dream about princess style wedding dresses. From this era, the wedding dresses of Bianca Jagger, Yoko Ono, Mia Farrow and Audrey Hepburn reveal a characteristic, non-traditional sense of style without giving up on craftsmanship and elegance. ”
The mini dresses, suits and two-piece outfits of the RUSH collection are easy to mix and match, so anyone can create the outfit that best suits their own personal style.
In addition, the pieces from the RUSH capsule collection can easily be incorporated into a wardrobe after the wedding, making them more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
