Our beautiful Daalarna bride Annie and her love Lem tied the knot in Austin, Texas in a multicultural wedding where they could celebrate their love with the closest friends and family. Their greenery themed, rustic decoration was absolutely stunning as well as every little detail of their wedding.
Lem wore traditional Nigerian formal wear that he topped off with Gucci tiger cufflinks and Calvin Klein shoes while Annie wore a lace mermaid Daalarna gown with pearl detailing along the neckline and back.
This is how Annie remembers choosing her wedding dress for the big day:
„I chose to shop for wedding dresses alone (except for one trip to California where I took my mom, sister, and close family members so they could experience it with me). I went to about 4 different boutiques around Austin and tried on probably 6-8 dresses at each place. It was easy for me to know what I liked and didn’t like pretty quickly. I narrowed it down to a few dresses by Daalarna at Serendipity Bridal and returned during Daalarna’s trunk show with one close friend. I didn’t have a “this is the one” moment and there were no tears, but I loved the unique lace and the fit on my booty (ha!) so that sealed the deal.”
The couple had many guests arrive in their cultural formalwear.
Their groomsmen had the option to wear tuxes or cultural formalwear, most of whom chose to represent their cultures. One groomsman wore a barong Tagalog, a formal embroidered shirt and the national dress of the Philippines. Another groomsman wore a Greek Tsolia, a traditional uniform worn by historical Greek soldiers. There was a groomsman that wore an Indian Sherwani with a Kurta and one that wore a Kurta with a Nehru jacket.
