We are incredibly proud that the Daalarna gowns are now available at more than 30 international retailers worldwide, including bridal boutiques in the USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Ukraine. In this column, we introduce you to some of our retailers from all around the world. This time, the team of Emma & Grace Bridal Studio answered our questions about their incredibly stylish bridal shop in Denver, United States.
What is the story of your beautiful salon/studio?
Emma & Grace came into Denver at a time where there wasn’t a lot of variety outside of the traditional style of a wedding gown. We wanted to rewrite the rules of bridal by offering something unique, easy, and more relaxed of an atmosphere when dress shopping.
What is the philosophy/ concept behind it?
To our core, we care about our brides. We want everyone to feel welcome, inspired, and comfortable being themselves. We passionately believe that you should trust where you buy and trust that we’ll take care of you.
How would you describe the style of the bridal gowns in your salon? Could also you mention some brands?
Our collection strays away from traditional and leans toward the romantic, boho, and unique without losing the feel of a wedding gown. It’s a variety of indie designers, up and coming brands, as well as some strong, well-known labels. This includes Bo & Luca, Chantel Lauren, Georgia Young, Inmaculada Garcia, Watters, and more.
How did you discover Daalarna Couture, and what is the reason you have chosen the brand?
We found Daalarna in our first year of business when they were still pretty new to the US market. They’re so unique, different, and at that time, the only designer that was doing the lace long-sleeve A-line with the low V front and back. That one gown grew my business like crazy!
What kind of Daalarna dresses are the most popular ones in your salon?
What our brides consistently love most about Daalarna are the soft silk fabrics and unique lace. A few of our most popular are PRD233, OCN 420 and SNT 522— these styles give our Colorado brides the boho lace they love for their mountain weddings.
What do you think is the reason your brides love Daalarna gowns?
The unique laces are always something our brides are drawn to; they don’t look like everything else which is refreshing. The dresses also aren’t for one specific type of bride; the quality in fit is perfect for a bride of any size.
How would you describe your customers? (style, personality, taste etc.)
Our bride is very much the everyday girl. Our customer styles are all very different from boho to traditional to minimal. Each bride shares a similar heart, though. They care for others and priorities different things.
Do Denver brides follow similar trends at their weddings?
Yes, and no. I think we will always have rustic and bohemian brides in Colorado due to the mountains, but more then anything we notice that our brides like to be different. They like to customise small details on their gown, so it is unlike anything anyone else will have.
Jenny – A beautiful Daalarna bride from Denver
Do you have any unique wedding traditions in Denver?
We have a lot of brides that are implementing colour such as blues and blushes!
Let’s suppose that an international couple is planning a destination wedding in Denver. Would you be able to recommend to them some of your favourite venues or vendors in your area?
There are so many! It depends on the feel that the couple is looking for. There are venues that are sophisticated and clean such as Blanc, Moss, and Skylight or more rustic such as Spruce Mountain Ranch and Crooked Willow. You can’t go wrong with anything in the mountains such as Devils Thumb Ranch, Piney River Ranch, or the Vail Wedding Deck!
