Romantic Forest Wedding in Hungary – Eszter + Gyuri

Our vision for our wedding day was that the ceremony would reflect us: youthful, happy, individualistic, relaxed, informal. For that it was essential to have our loved ones with us and a venue close to our hearts. We did not want to follow any rules, expectations, trends or customs that might make us or our guests feel uncomfortable. To realize our unique concept and to preserve the intimacy, we tried to involve as few strangers as possible from the wedding planning services. We created almost everything from our own ideas.

We were ecstatic to come across the beautiful little forest chapel which perfectly matched our dreams. The first time we visited it we were enchanted by the scent of the forest, and the bird song. We knew that this place away from the city, was the place where we and our guests could be totally rejuvenated.

For the same reason we chose the venue for the reception a few hundred meters from the chapel, and reserved accommodation at a nearby forest youth camp. Gyuri and I spent the whole day getting ready in the little forest wooden chalets ,one for the boys and one for the girls. The moment of exchanging our vows was the most natural thing in the world, after all we had been looking forward to becoming a family for a very long time. The whole day was dreamlike. We could not have wished for anything more beautiful.
