Brooke and Ryan’s fairytale wedding in Italy was first featured on one of the world’s leading wedding sites, Style Me Pretty, where their romantic Italian venue choice and meticulous sense of style received a lot of attention. The bride chose a Daalarna gown for her big day that exuded both elegance and timelessness. The couple said their vows in Tuscany during a three-day celebration, evoking the rich flavours of Italian culture and the magical atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside.
The design
Brooke and Ryan envisioned a romantic and timeless European wedding. Initially, they considered the Tuscany region of Italy and Austria as venues, as they were emotionally attached to both countries. After visiting several venues in Italy, they arrived at Villa Palagina and immediately fell in love. The couple’s wedding in Italy lasted three days, including a dinner in the vineyards and a pool party. A classic, elegant and romantic wedding was planned, with every detail carefully designed to perfectly complement the natural beauty of the villa and its elegant gardens.
The proposal
Ryan proposed to Brooke at a lake house in the South Carolina mountains, a place that is home to many of their shared memories. The proposal was special and personal: Ryan invited Brooke on a treasure hunt through the house and yard. He wrote stories about why he loved her on slips of paper hidden in various locations. The penultimate message led Brooke to a waterfall decorated with flowers, where the words and a ring awaited her: “Will you marry me?” Ryan included the bride’s parents and his own parents in the planning, who joined in the celebration after the proposal. The event concluded with a dinner together, followed by a wonderful weekend at the lake.
Love at first sight
I fell in love with my Daalarna dress at first sight! Elegant, sensual and timeless, exactly what I imagined. I loved wearing it and it was incredibly comfortable – which was especially important for me as I was getting married in the summer.

The details
Brooke and Ryan brought the Italian feel to the three-day celebration, making sure Aperol Spritz was always on hand. They served a traditional Tuscan menu, treating guests to authentic flavours and local delicacies.

Celebration
The wedding ceremony took place in the magical garden of the villa, surrounded by vineyards. The floral decoration team created a backdrop of lush flowers that perfectly accentuated the breathtaking views. The reception took place on the villa’s terrace in front of the elegant façade, where tables were decorated with garlands of flowers falling to the ground and garlands of lights created a magical atmosphere. The couple’s wedding in Italy was breathtaking in every detail.
