’As a wedding designer, I have seen many beautiful brides, and I can tell that happy and confident brides are the prettiest.’ – says Anita Benes. ’From the very beginning, all our styles are made-to-measure at Daalarna because we believe that one of the key elements of a beautiful smile is a dress which fits perfectly. It makes me very sad to see some brides trying to drastically change or hide themselves on their big day just because they think they are not perfect in terms of society. ’

While at Daalarna, any of our designs can be made to measure, the CURVY capsule collection consists of six wedding dresses which were inspired by previous Daalarna brides’ favourite styles. The dresses have been made to highlight the beauty of the feminine body while providing brides with the feeling of comfort. While designing these dresses, Anita Benes focused on the smallest but most important details such as soft, wavy sleeves, elegant decolletages, and innovative use of materials.
These tiny changes help brides feel beautiful and comfortable at the same time.
To prove that you should not hide yourself under any circumstances, a mermaid dress is also part of the CURVY collection. Nowadays, this style is considered the symbol of feminine clothing, and many celebrities wear it on the red carpet to prove they are proud of their feminine bodies.
