Daalarna’s latest collection, SERENITY, is for brides who find true beauty in simplicity. Delicate details, airy fabrics and perfect tailoring – each bridal gown reflects a sense of serenity, harmony and sophistication, while embodying the elegance and confidence of the modern woman.
SERENITY is not just a collection – it’s a way of life. It is a message for women on the brink of a big day who believe that simplicity is where true luxury lies, and that glamour comes not from adornment but from inner calm and natural beauty.

“With this collection, we encourage brides to embrace real moments on their wedding day. The elegance of simplicity and the harmony of simplicity give them the opportunity to find true inner peace on the big day and focus on the moments that really matter,” says Anita Benes.
The clean, minimalist lines make these dresses timeless, as they will remain fresh and current for years to come, true classics that are timeless. Simplicity is not synonymous with monotony – on the contrary, the clean lines create a sense of timeless beauty and luxury.
“With minimalist styles, every single seam and detail must be perfect, as even the smallest flaws are easily noticed. Daalarna’s expertise and artisanal precision are evident in this collection, with each garment being the epitome of elegance and quality.”
Mikado silk is one of the most prominent materials used in the SERENITY collection, and is one of the bride’s favourite choices for its unique shine and texture. In the spirit of drama, Anita Benes employed unique design elements – special lines and bold, striking materials – to create a truly princess-like effect. She also combined mikado silk with 3D lace as a novelty. These lace motifs are simple, unique and exude pure harmony, so that the resulting dresses represent both airy lightness and modern elegance.
“3D lace is a perennial classic in bridal fashion, known as the basis of haute couture, and has been given a prominent role in the SERENITY collection. The delicately crafted floral and leaf motifs with a spatial effect evoke a natural, romantic feel, as if the bride’s dress were nature come to life. These 3D laces have also been used on simple dresses, creating a unique and playful contrast.”

Distinctive new features of SERENITY include special raw materials and accessories. The collection features feather and bead embellishments that add excitement to minimalist garments. These small details add glamour and a modern couture effect to the pieces, without becoming overwhelming. According to Anita Benes, the downside of the minimalist trend is that it creates a feeling that brides are becoming more and more alike, so uniqueness is more important now than before, which can be achieved with different detailing solutions. Veils, boleros, belts and other accessories can enhance the clean beauty of a dress while making it stand out.
“The use of translucent fabrics is also a key element of the collection and the trends for 2026. The delicate layers of tulle and lace glide over the body as if the bride is simply enveloped in the lightness of air, while each piece is delicately lined for ultimate comfort,” says Anita Benes.
Corsetry is back in its heyday today, returning in several variations as part of the collection – sometimes with visible boning, sometimes hidden, emphasizing the elegance of structured dresses. Daalarna applies this technique with great expertise, so that these wedding dresses accentuate feminine lines without causing discomfort. In addition, the Basque waistline, already present in the REMEMBER collection, has been emphasised.
“The U or V-shaped lines elegantly accentuate the waist and create harmonious proportions in the design of the dresses.”

The new SERENITY collection also includes some special short wedding dresses, as more and more brides are choosing these elegant, clean white cocktail dresses for different stages of the wedding – whether for a civil ceremony or as a comfortable outfit change for the evening. Instead of the classic red or pink shift dress, the clean white shade offers a modern and elegant alternative that is both beautiful and timeless. In Hungary, there is a tradition where, after dinner, the bride changes into a short red or pink dress, symbolizing her transition into married life. Today, however, many brides opt for a modern twist on this custom by wearing a short white dress instead. The clean white shade offers a contemporary and elegant alternative that is both beautiful and timeless.
With versatility becoming more and more popular with brides every year, Anita Benes has also designed dresses in this collection that can be worn in a variety of ways, such as with a separate overskirt, bolero or custom belt. This concept allows the bride to adapt her look to her own needs at different moments of the wedding.
Sustainability is of the utmost importance to Daalarna, and the SERENITY collection is made from carefully selected, high quality materials in the Budapest workshop, with attention to the smallest detail to give brides the most perfect result.
Daalarna’s new collection therefore represents both timeless elegance and the latest trends in modern bridal fashion. SERENITY is designed for brides who want to stay true to their own style on the big day and believe that the ultimate luxury lies in simplicity.
