Good news for Daalarna! The new BUDAPEST collection has been featured on one of the best international wedding websites, The Lane. Photographer Matt Godkin took breathtaking pictures of the most unique dresses from the BUDAPEST collection to make a little noise for our upcoming Daalarna trunk shows worldwide. The photos were taken in Australia, on the breathtaking Whitsunday Islands.

‘I think that Hungarian and Eastern European design techniques and folk motifs are very special and are considered more unusual and surprising in the fashion industry than other countries’ well-known design traditions. I am not just very proud of our beautiful folk art but also think that by showing it to the world Daalarna can offer something unique and different to the brides who choose our dresses.
While designing the new collections, I always focus on creating something brand new instead of just reusing or copying these traditional techniques and motifs.
The new collection merge traditional Hungarian folk-art shapes and design elements with Daalarna’s modern, feminine and sophisticated signature style.’
